Raw material for the synthesis of ddhUTP,Nucleotides/Nucleosides and their analogs are considered to be an important group of bioactive compounds with crucial antiviral (anti-HVB, anti-HCV and anti-HIV etc.) and antitumor effect. ddhU is the raw material for the synthesis of 3ʹ-deoxy-3’, 4ʹ-didehydro-UTP (ddhUTP) (Cat.No. B8342), which is a chain terminator for the RNA-dependent RNA polymerases. It can be used in study of RNA-mediated regulation in microbes and antiviral drugs.
